FREQUENCY READOUT / COUNTER
1. Get a copper board that is 3.25 x 4 inches or larger.
3.25 x 4 is the minimum size. Make sure the edges of the board are smooth.
Clean the copper surface with a soft abrasive.
2. Prepare the LCD display. Insert a 2 inch bare 24 or 26 GA wire into the "K" cathode hole
of the back-light display. Bring the wire out 1.5 inches on the display side and solder. Trim the lead on the bottom of the board.
Insert a 1 inch bare 24 or 26 GA wire thru holes 1,5,7,8,9 and 10.
Solder. Trim the wires flush on the LCD side of the board and trim the wire 3/8 th inches on the other side. Insert a 2 inch bare 26 or 28 GA wire thru holes 11,12,13 and 14.
Solder. Trim the length on the LCD side to 3/4 inches and cut the bottom leads flush to the board.
